No One is Illegal s’inscrit dans une dénonciation des politiques migratoires répressives au États-Unis mais plus largement mondiale. À travers une esthétique proche du cauchemar, elle explore la violence du rejet. Au centre un agneau à deux têtes figure à la fois de pureté et de monstruosité. Il incarne ici le bouc émissaire, pris entre plusieurs mondes et identités.
“No one is illegal on stolen land” rappelle que le territoire américain est bâti sur des terres arrachées par la colonisation. Ce qui rend l’argumentaire de “l’illégalité” des migrant.e.s profondément stupide.

No One is Illegal is part of a denunciation of repressive migration policies in the United States and, more broadly, around the world. Through an aesthetic reminiscent of a nightmare, it explores the violence of rejection. At the center, a two-headed lamb appears both pure and monstrous. It embodies the scapegoat, caught between multiple worlds and identities.
“No one is illegal on stolen land” serves as a reminder that American territory was built on land seized through colonization : Making the argument about the “illegality” of migrants profoundly absurd.
